The two chimneys were part of the H.L.Brisbane & Wunderlich Ltd. clay tile and vitrified clay pipe pottery works which closed in 1985 after 50years on the site. The area includes eight circular downdraught kilns (often called beehive kilns), five stacks and intact associated floor ducts/ventilation with a corrugated iron structure covering.
