FRL'église Saint-Gilles de Watten à la particularité de posséder 2 horloges identique placées toutes les deux sous la corniche ; A droite pour l'horloge située sur la façade Nord, A gauche pour l'horloge située sur la façade Est. Historique de l'église : L'Eglise fut fondée en 1236, suite à la décision des moines de l'Abbaye Notre-Dame du Mont d'accueillir les paroissiens dans une église en contre-bas du mont. Alors que la nef a été reconstruite en 1830, sa tour, classée Monument Historique, est d'origine et a été entièrement restaurée. Elle s'élève sur six niveaux jusqu'à la corniche de pierre qui couronne l'ensemble.
EN The church of Saint-Gilles de Watten has the peculiarity of owning 2 identical clocks placed both under the cornice; To the right for the clock located on the north facade, Left for the clock located on the east facade. History of the church: The church was founded in 1236, following the decision of the monks of the Abbey Notre-Dame du Mont to welcome the parishioners in a church below the mountain. While the nave was rebuilt in 1830, its tower, classified Historic Monument, is original and has been completely restored. It rises on six levels until the cornice of stone which crowns the whole.
