This is a one-story building faced with rusticated sandstone. It was constructed in 1896 and stands at the corner of Main Street and Northeast "A" Street. The roof is flat, with an elaborate parapet. The roofline is stepped, with a pediment at the center flanked by merlons. Sunburst designs are found within the pediment and to either side of the merlons.
There are two storefronts, mirror images of each other. Above each are intact clerestories consisting of four wood-framed panes for each storefront. A flat wood canopy is hung over the full facade.
Each storefront has a small display window at the outer side, then a wood and glazed single door, with a large display window at the center. All framing is wood; the doors are wood, and the bulkhead beneath the display windows is paneled wood.
Both storefronts were vacant at the time of our visit. This building is Item 5 (page 19) of the National Register nomination.
