This is a two-story red brick building with a flat roof. Constructed in 1896, it has several areas of embellishment to add to its attractiveness. At the roof line, the parapet is stepped up at the center, giving the impression of three upper bays. The roof line has stone coping beneath which are three friezes bordered by raised brick. The center stone frieze bears the name H.G. STONE and a date. Beneath this across the facade is a narrow row of stone beneath which are six metal-framed one-over-one double hung windows.

The clerestory is exposed with large wood-framed panes, above which is a very wide name frieze with raised brick border. At this time, the occupant has erected large letters in front of this which read: "MURRAY ON MAIN". The storefront has double wood and glazed doors, slightly recessed, with full wood-framed displays windows on either side.

This building is Item 55 (Page 34) on the National Register nomination and was placed on the Register in 1983.

NOTE: Though the Register nomination form shows this building to be dated 1896, the name/date block is rather difficult to read due to erosion. It appeared to us to have the date 1912 or 1913.
