This roadside attraction is just one of many in the town nicknamed "Big Things in a Small Town". Casey, IL is home to a collection of Guinness World Record items, including these "World'series Largest Wind Chimes".
The chimes are located on the east side of downtown on Main St. They are directing across the road from the world's largest rocking chair.
The chimes themselves stand 56 feet in the air with the longest chime being 42 feet long. The chimes were erected in December of 2011 by Jim Bolin. It took him 2 years to design and build the chimes.
The chimes are officially listed as an Art and Architecture site on the Hwy 40 National Road.
They stand outside of the Whirling Whimsy Cafe.
