Along the north and west walls of Bedford Camera Shop are eight, 3 x 8 ft. "muralettes" which show various snapshots of Oklahoma City. They are created by Bob Palmer, a very well known muralist who has created amazing murals throughout Oklahoma and beyond.
The photos taken by each mural are as follows:
1 - "O" - a scene from Myriad Gardens and the Devon Tower in downtown OKC.
2 - "K" - A scene from nearby Bricktown, a popular tourist attraction in a refurbished downtown factory district.
3 - "C" - The Route 66 shield with a scene from OKC in the background. Route 66 runs right through the city.
4 - A portion of the large Land Run sculpture in Bricktown, and a sculpture of Mickey Mantle at the ballpark.
5 - A picture of the State Capitol and the Oklahoma flag
6 & 7 - The U.S. flag across both murals, with the Survivor Tree from the Murrah Bombing Memorial
8 - The famous Skydance sculpture, which overlooks Interstate 40, and is a depiction of the State bird, the Scissortail Flycatcher.
