"Plans to open the summit of Mount Umunhum, the site of a former Air Force station in the hills south of San Jose that has been called Silicon Valley’s version of Mount Diablo or Mount Tamalpais, will be delayed for at least six months.

The grand opening to the public for car-touring, hiking, bicycling and horse riding had been scheduled for Oct. 22.

But now due to construction delays and increased costs, it will be sometime between late April and June, officials from the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, which owns the site, said Monday." (visit link)
