Located in the communes of Charmeil and Saint-Rémy-en-Rollat 5 km north-north-west of Vichy in the Allier (Auvergne region, France). With an area of 130 ha, its 2,200 m long by 45 m wide track allows access to large civilian or military carriers.
The airport is regularly the seat of sports events or demonstration (parachuting, RSA (amateur builders), Patrouille de France etc.). The Concorde stopped there on September 9, 1983. The airport hosts the Vichy Flying Club and the Val d'Allier-Vichy Flying Club. There is currently no regular line of business.
Situé sur les communes de Charmeil et de Saint-Rémy-en-Rollat à 5 km au nord-nord-ouest de Vichy dans l’Allier (région Auvergne, France). D'une superficie de 130 ha, sa piste de 2 200 m de long par 45 m de large permet l’accès de gros porteurs civils ou militaires.
L’aéroport est régulièrement le siège de manifestations sportives ou de démonstration (parachutisme, RSA (constructeurs amateurs), Patrouille de France etc.). Le Concorde y a fait escale le 9 septembre 1983. L’aéroport accueille l'aéroclub de Vichy ainsi que l'aéroclub du Val d'Allier-Vichy. Il n'y a actuellement pas de ligne commerciale régulière.
