This is a large example of a "Rodgers" sea anchor, on the Esplanade of Lakes Entrance.

It looked like it had been cast from a wooden original, in that there was the worn, and exposed 'grain' of weathered timber effected into the cast iron, making it look wooden.
Access: there is a car park right beside it, and it is also right beside the pedestrian path that goes along the waterfront.
There was no information plaque around for it.
