John F. Kennedy - Memorial Park - Ardmore, OK - Etched in Stone on Waymarking.com

Memorial Park at 410 W. Main is the location of the famous Oil Patch Warrior sculpture, as well as a place where Ardmore commemorates the lives of those who fought for this country.

On a polished black granite slab (excuse the photographer's images), is engraved the following quotation from President John F. Kennedy's Inauguration Address on January 20, 1961.

Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and success of liberty.
