St Anne's Roman Catholic Church was built on this site in 1864. It served the needs of the local congregation from birth to detah from 1864, until it was finally shuttered and demolished in 1986.
Today, all that remain so the church is a commemorative cairn bearing the church's cornerstone and a commemorative marker. The cemetery is still in use and is very well maintained.
There are about 200 markers in the cemetery, with the oldest dating from the 1860's.
Interestingly, Find A Grave has only catalogued about 5.
