The church of St. Michael’s Without, so called as it originally stood ‘without’ the walls of the medieval city of Bath has stood on this site for many centuries as a place of Christian worship. The building today is the fourth on this site, dating from 1837 and was consecrated just 5 months before Queen Victoria came to the throne.
Much of the glass dates from that era, but although there is much information about the church building, there is not much mention about the stained glass windows.
