Oklahoma became a State in 1907 and many communities have celebrated its 100th Anniversary with a community project. The City of Ardmore, through the sponsorship of the Charles B. Goddard Center for the Visual and Performing Arts has created this beautiful sculpture garden alongside its Center.
This is a area surrounded by iron fencing, that displays various pieces of sculpture. The area has grassed portions, and concrete walk areas, and is partially covered by an iron pergola.
Numerous pieces of sculpture, both figurative and abstract are displayed. The garden was completed in the State's 100th year as a State, 2007. The sculptures are visible from the sidewalk, 24/7. The gate is open during Goddard Center hours: Tues-Fri: 9-5 and Sat: 1-4.
