This is a log footbridge, flattened on the walking surface. The walking surface has the remains of an application of tar and gravel traction surface. The bridge has one handrail on the downstream side. The walking surface is about 12" wide and is about 6' above the creek.

At the bridge site the Old Sugarlands Trail is an old gravel road. The road crosses the creek via a concrete ford upstream from the bridge.
