[F] Ce pigeonnier circulaire a été construit au XVIème siècle. Ses murs de moellons d'un mètre d'épaisseur sont supportés par un soubassement en pierres de taille légèrement évasé.
Les parois sont entièrement garnies jusqu’à soixante centimètres du sol de boulins de brique en équerre. L'échelle tournante d'origine est si parfaitement entretenue qu'elle peut être déplacée d'un doigt !
Toutes les 7 ou 8 rangées de boulins (nids de pigeons) un larmier protégeait les nids de l'ascension des prédateurs (rats, fouines).
Avec ses 1 400 boulins, ce sont donc pas moins de 2 800 volatiles qui ont pu être hébergés ici !

[E] This circular dovecote was built in the 16th century. Its walls of stones one meter thick are supported by a base of stones of slightly flared size.
The walls are fully lined up to sixty centimeters from the floor of pigeon holes in brick at right angles. The original rotating ladder is so perfectly maintained that it can be moved with a single finger!
Every 7 or 8 rows of boulins (nests of pigeons) a drip protected the nests from the rise of the predators (rats, martens).
With its 1,400 boulins, it is therefore not less than 2,800 birds that could be hosted here!
