Not much is known of the history of this beautiful wooden Church building. In more recent times it has become the home for the Cann River Seventh-day Adventist Church 'Company' [Company = smaller number in the congregation, that cannot by itself support a minister].

From the Seventh-day Adventist Church weekly 'paper', "the Australasian Record" of 11 February, 2006: "The Noorinbee Seventh-day Adventist fellowship became the Victoria's most easterly church company on November 19, 2005. It is situated about two kilometres out of Cann River on the Monaro Highway, a six-hour drive east of Melbourne. Victorian Conference president Pastor Denis Hankinson welcomed this new church company into the conference on the day."

Services are on a Saturday (Sabbath), with Bible Study at 10am, and then Divine Service at 11.20 am.
