In a slate tile paved alcove which is surrounded by hedges and benches a 6' high pink granite monument honors the men and women from Westfield, MA who fought, died, and served during the Vietnamese Conflict. The monument contains the circular emblems of the:
United States ARMY - NAVY - MARINES - AIR FORCE - COAST GUARD
The monument is inscribed:
