In front of the Greater Southwest Historical and Genealogical Society Museum is a cast stone bench dedicated to Pete and Marty Cooper. The engraving on the bench reads: "Donated by friends in loving memory of Pete & Marty Hendon Cooper."
Pete (10/24/1928 - 4/19/2006) and Marty (12/12/1929 - 5/14/2006) Cooper are buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. They passed away just a month apart.
