While a Parish map from 1855 does show the Roman Catholic Church having possibly four blocks of land between Dixon and Blackburn Streets, bounded by Merrick Street to the west, that does include the land that St Patrick's School is now on. (visit link)

The steeply pitched, iron clad roof was in good condition (in May 2016), as was the surrounding grounds.

A book held by the Prahran Mechanic's Institute (Victorian History library), titled "St. Patrick's Church, Stratford, 1884-1984", by subject matter listed, implies that the centenary was held in 1984. (visit link)
