Lake John Wells and Park is a small local park and lake that the local area residents use on a frequent basis. Where good fishing, great views and nature all come together into one.

Lake John Wells is located in eastern Oklahoma and is southeast of Stigler. The lake has 3 miles of shoreline and 194 surface acres. This lake is owned by the city of Stigler. It is a great lake for a picnic with outdoors grills and a playground. It has tent camping and RV-camper hookups (electric only) and spaces are limited. But for a small getaway or a resting point for a night or two, Lake John Wells is the right spot.
With it only being minutes from town with fuel, food, and retail stores making this a quiet, little stop for the easy camper or passing through.
