The church of Braucourt was the seat of a cure at the snack of the Abbe de Montier-en-Der with Frampas for branch (later this situation reversed).

The seigniory belonged from the 8th century to the 15th century to the abbey of Montier-en-Der.

A revised estimate dated July 1873 and signed by the architect Fisbacq tells us that a plan for the total reconstruction of the bell tower and choir was awarded on 25 July 1873.

Plans were made in 1870 for two projects: one conserved the choir and rebuilt the tower above it, and the second, which was retained, rebuilt the whole and added a sacristy to the south.

Although not mentioned in the estimate, the restoration also touched the western façade since the whole upper part was rebuilt.
