The Lumpkin City Hall is next to the former Lumpkin city jail, long out of jail standards and retired. It is next to the Lumpkin County Fire Department and the Lumpkin County Police Department in one long low complex of buildings that look to have been built about the 1920s. These buildings may be former commercial buildings now converted to city use to economic decline.
