Stammumfang 4,68 m, Pflanzjahr ca.1800
Dieser Baum wurde gepflanzt, als dieses Gelände landwirtschaftlich genutzt wurde. Er sollte Eicheln für die Schweinemast liefern. 1813, als dieser Baum jung war, kämpften hier Franzosen und Kosaken um die Herrschaft in Hamburg. Später stand er unter holsteinischer Herrschaft, kam dann 1864 unter österreichische Verwaltung und wurde mit ganz Schleswig-Holstein 1866 preußisch. Er überstand die Luftangriffe von 1943 auf Hamburg und den Brennholzbedarf der Nachkriegszeit. Als alter Baum wächst er kaum noch. sondern versucht trotz Bodenversiegelung und Autoabgasen zu überleben.

This tree was planted when this site was used for agricultural purposes. He should supply acorns for the pig mast. In 1813, when this tree was young, Frenchmen and Cossacks fought for the rule in Hamburg. Later he was under Holstein rule, then came under Austrian administration in 1864 and became Prussian with all Schleswig-Holstein in 1866. He survived the air raids of 1943 on Hamburg and the firewood requirements of the post-war period. As an old tree, it hardly grows. but tries to survive despite ground sealing and car exhaust.
