In fact, it is a spruce, which belongs to the Obervogt Dr. Karl Theodor Huber. In 1805, he had easy access roads along the waterfalls, thus initiating Triberg's tourism development.
Tatsächlich ist es eine Fichte, die an den Obervogt Dr. Karl Theodor Huber erinnert. Er ließ im Jahr 1805 gut begehbare Wege entlang der Wasserfälle anlegen und läutete damit die touristische Entwicklung Tribergs ein.
