Old CN station located next to the new(er) VIA Rail Station in Ingersoll.
The station was built by the Grand Trunk Railway in 1889, to replace an earlier (1854) station on the site. In 1923 the Grand Trunk was absorbed by the CNR and the station was expanded. It remained in use until 1979, when VIA Rail assumed all passenger train responsibility. The lack of ridership couldn't justify keeping the station open and it was shut down.
VIA built a smaller station in the 1980's. The CN station has been left derelict since then.
Access is via VIA Rail Driveway off Thames Street.
