I haven't taken the time to count the courses of bricks, and calculate the height from that, but I would think that this tower is over 10 metres, and possibly 14 metres tall.

The clock faces are just over 1.3 metres diameter, with the circular brick enclosures for the faces being 2 metres diameter. With white backgrounds, there are three concentric rings, with the narrower two rings holding the minute 'ticks'. The five minute marks have Roman Numerals to indicate the passing of time. The concentric rings, ticks, and clock hands are all black, with the clock hands being of a classic design. The dials are open to the elements. They are within a bone-coloured rendered ring, and then two circular courses of the same brown bricks.

Atop the Tower is a low pitched metal-clad roof, with a weather vane. (with several cables coming off of that, it may be connected to a weather station for indicating wind direction for Sale). While the roof overhangs the tower by 600 mm, and appears to have metal guttering, I could see no sign of an external down pipe.

Unfortunately I didn't get a photograph of all sides of the Tower, to see if there is a side of the Tower where there MAY be entry onto the VERY narrow, wrought-iron fence balustrated ledge that is immediately below the dials. The wrought-iron work of the fence would only be about 0.75 metre high, and it has 3D floreates with sharp spike on each of the corners of the tower - about 1.4 metre tall.

Each side of the tower has an arched louvered window inset into the brick-work. There is an arched entry door on the northern side of the Tower.

A couple of nearby businesses have also taken on the name 'Clock Tower' to identify their position in Sale.
