Our History
" The Sale Fire Brigade was formed in December of 1882 and was the second brigade to be established in the Gippsland Area, after Bairnsdale in 1879. It would be a further 10 years until the establishment of the Country Fire Brigades Board in 1890.
" For over 130 years the Sale Fire Brigade has served the Sale community with bravery and distinction, fighting major blazes within Sale, and sending crews and equipment to other areas of Victoria, and even interstate to fight major fires." (

While their FaceBook page says that the Sale Fire Brigade has updated their website address, it is not doing much, apart from showing a current monthly calendar - and giving the history of the Station. A 'Google' search gives the address of the District Office [64-66 Foster St, Sale VIC 3850]
