While wandering through the far southeast portion of Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Chandler, looking for Geocache GC4JXBH, we walked past two granite monuments. One memorialized those who are buried in this cemetery.
The other is a gray granite monument with a flagpole, on which is engraved: "In loving memory of the men and women who have given their lives in the service of freedom."
The sponsor is unknown, and most likely is a private person with friends and family members buried here. The monument isn't fancy like so many, but its sentiment is as pure and heartfelt as can be. It reminds us that People Care.
