[EN] "Geysir Center offers new attractions from the end of April
Private wells TÖNISSTEINER, whose magnesium-rich and calcium-containing mineral waters originate from over 2,000 years from Artesian sources, continues the successful partnership with Geysir.info gGmbH in 2016. Both companies combine the precious natural product of mineral water with source of carbon dioxide. The Geysir center in Andernach is richer with another attraction from the end of April. On the ground floor, the backdrop of a formerly industrially used and open stone quarry has emerged, in which researchers are now on the track of vulcanism and its associated phenomenon. Right at the beginning of the discovery trip on the subject of volcanism and geyser the visitor plunges into another world. Whether rock walls, research time or remnants of the former industrial use such as faucets, displays and steel beams - the guests are directly in the subject and are led to the volcanic gap, through the elevator down into the underground galleries and the secrets of the earth's interior. There you will also find the carbon dioxide - the drive for the geyser. The journey of the carbon dioxide through the earth's layers to the outbreak of the world's largest cold water geyser can be experienced here. After the visit to the Geysir center, the ship continues on the Rhine to the nature reserve Namedyerwerth. There you can experience it live, the highest cold water geyser in the world."
