On the "Nasseplatz" southwest of the "Margarethenhöhe" a monument reminds of Berthold von Nasse (1831-1906). He was upper president of the Rheinpronvinz and made an outstanding contribution towards nature conservation in the Siebengebirge.
The monolith carries the inscription "Dem Präsidenten der Rheinprovinz Berthold Nasse" ("to The upper president of the Rhine province Berthold Nasse")
In addition, a commemorative table is mounted.
