An der Fassade des Landeskriminalamts Wien wurde im Bereich Berggasse 43 ein Mahnmal befestigt. Es handelt sich um eine gefaltete Metallplatte, in die folgende Inschriften eingraviert wurden:

Käthe Sasso
wurde 1942 hier als 16-jährige inhaftiert und kam im Jänner 1943 als Häftling ins Wiener Landesgericht.
1944 wurde sie ins Konzentrationslage Ravensbrück deportiert.

Hier, im ehemaligen Polizeigefängnis Rossauer Lände, waren in der Zeit ohne Gnade von 1938 bis 1945 politische Gegnerinnen und Gegner des NS-Regimes eingekerkert. Dieses Gefängnis war der Vorhof zu den Verhören und Folterungen auf der Gestapo-Leitstelle auf dem Morzinplatz.
Leider ist über das Mahnmal so gut wie keine weitere Information zu finden.

On the façade of the Landeskriminalamt (State Office of Criminal Investigations) in Vienna, a memorial was installed in the Berggasse 43 area. It is a folded metal plate engraved with the following inscriptions:

Here, in the former police headquarters of the Rossauer Lände, political opponents of the Nazi regime were imprisoned without mercy from 1938 to 1945. This prison was the forecourt for interrogation and torture at the Gestapo headquarters on Morzinplatz.
