Dacice (Czech pronunciation: ['dat??ts?]; German: Datschitz) is a town in southwestern Moravia, currently belonging to the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,000 inhabitants. It is notable as the home of the sugar cube, which was invented there in 1843 by Jakub Kryštof Rad.
