The Vrtača is in the border between Slovenia and Austria, and is climbed from the Slovenian side of the range (south face). The popular routes to get there are from Ljubelj Pass, in Slovenia on the east side of the peak; or from the Klagenfurter Hütte, in Auastria on the west side. The climb is technically rather easy.
Access from the north face of the Vrtača can be achieved through climbing routes of grade IV and V.
Altitude in Feet: 7150
