To find Karen's Garden is to look for the Mullan Statue to the east of city hall. The statue and the memorial garden are in a small traffic island in the middle of Earle Street.

The memorial garden has been created in honour of Karen Dunnigan, who died in 2005. Born in Cottonwood, ID on March 2, 1944, Karen died of cancer in Mullan, ID, April 12, 2005 at the age of 73. The garden has a bronze plaque mounted on a concrete slab surrounded by stepping stones. The flowers in the garden have been lovingly tended.
