This less than life-sized statue shows Ludwig II without a crown but in royal cloths and with a swan.
The statue's year of creation and its artist are unknown.
It is made of bronze.
Ludwig II was King of Bavaria from 1864 until his death in 1886.
He was born 25 August 1845. He's also known as Swan King, Mad King Ludwig or der Märchenkönig (the 'Fairy Tale King'). He was the builder of the world's most famous castle: Schloss Neuschwanstein.
