This hammer was made by C C Bradley & Sons of Syracuse USA c1897. and used for planishing in the local Nash Scythe Works until 1968. Donated by Mr D Cooper of Drayton Forge. It was sited here by Belbroughton History Society and Parish Council in commemoration of the Village's industrial Heritage. Unveiled by Mr Wilfrid Saunders, Nash Works former mamnager, 8th May 1995
