From the whatpub website:-
Dating from 1560, this is a very popular and smart inn with prices to match. Three lounge areas served by one bar. Located next to a brook in a pretty commuter village. Excellent, high quality food with a comprehensive menu. The pub gets very crowded at weekends (all tables tend to be reserved) and booking is advisable if you intend to eat. The village hosts a Scarecrow weekend in the autumn. Two guest beers from the Marstons Portfolio. Live music every other Sunday (open all day).
