The Cock Inn, Clifton is a traditional village pub set in the heart of the village of Clifton, Derbyshire, just outside Ashbourne and close to the villages of Snelston and Mayfield.
Behind the pub is the first site for the 'Speedy Shop', an automated retailing solution for small communities designed and manufactured by local business Villagevending.com. The shop provides a wide range of supplies to the village using a unique automated machine styled like a traditional village stores, and is the brainchild of local entrepreneur Peter Fox and his colleague Dave Russell.
