A pair of oak boards with a fretted border at the head, above moulded cornices and a frieze bearing the title. A further frieze and cornice at the foot bear the final part of the inscription. The names are painted in decorative upright capital lettering in two columns in the central panel, the fallen in gold, those who returned in grey. The first memorial is on the east wall of the nave, the second on the north wall.
