Established at the top of a hill overlooking the town of Eu, the present chapel dates back to the 19th century, but it replaces a series of chapels built on this site since 1625.
It was from this hill that the archbishop of Dublin, Laurent O'Toole, discovered the city which was to become his place of burial and veneration.
It is an elongated building with a nave ending with a polygonal apse, a bell tower extending the gable of the western façade, another bell tower and its pyramidal arrow punctuating the rump of the bedside.

Implantée au sommet d’une colline qui domine la ville d’Eu, la chapelle actuelle date du XIXe siècle, mais elle remplace une série de chapelles construites à cet emplacement depuis 1625.
C’est de cette colline que l’archevêque de Dublin, Laurent O’Toole découvrit la ville qui allait devenir son lieu de sépulture et de vénération.
C'est un édifice de plan allongé,avec une nef que termine une abside polygonale, un clocher en bâtière prolonge le pignon de la façade occidentale, un autre clocher et sa flèche pyramidal ponctue la croupe du chevet.
