The building was built in 1899 and featured live entertainment. As a movie theatre, the ISIS Theatre opened in 1931 and had a seating capacity of 375 seats. The ISIS Theatre closed in the 1970's
The theatre museum was purchased in 1985 by Betty Kennedy who turned the ISIS Theatre into the museum that it is today. The walls have movie posters paying homage to the great actors and actresses such as James Dean, Clarke Gable, Betty Davis and others. Others items inclede costumes, movie sets, toys, figurines and more.
