Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present section corner bears S89.6°W from T14S R10E S5 8 1/4 COR, 2641' distant.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 6" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: There is an ATTENTION sign mounted on an orange Carsonite post which bears N, 20" distant. Found four ponderosa pines with the usual array of metal signs, including old-style BEARING TREE shields and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?: Deschutes National Forest land all around
