This Vietnam War Memorial tree is located on the east side of the AL State Capitol Grounds near the Eternal Flame. It consists of a small grey granite block under a live oak tree. The granite block is engraved as follows:

"A living tribute to those
who served with honor
in Southeast Asia
Dedicated Dec 7, 1973."
