From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060, and continue about 2.8 miles to the intersection with FR2060-500. Turn left, and proceed about 1.2 miles to a locked gate. Hike W for about 0.2 miles to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 2" in a collar of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a wood lath stake marking the corner and a Carsonite post with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals which bears E, 38" distant. Found three ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes. There is a yellow BEARING TREE tag and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the one in the NW quadrant.

Deschutes National Forest land N from the corner, else private property;
