Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present corner bears N88.7°E from T14S R9E S16 E 1/16 COR, WAYPOINT WMWF9K, 1309' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/8" brass cap on iron pipe; flush with ground in a collar of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a wood lath stake marking the corner. Found four ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land SW from the corner, else private property;
