From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060, and continue about 2.8 miles to the intersection with FR2060-500. Turn left, proceed about 0.6 miles to the intersection with FR2060-570 and hike NE to the corner, about 0.1 miles distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/8" brass cap on iron pipe; flush with ground in a collar of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: There is a wood lath stake and two Carsonite posts. One, with PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals, bears E, 43" distant. The other, with a PROPERTY BOUNDARY decal bears N, 80" distant. Found three ponderosa pines with yellow BEARING TREE tags.
What property is this mark defining?: Private property NE from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
