Zhongshan Park in central Beijing is one of many attractions of the famous Forbidden City area. The Park itself is green, lush, and a comfortable change from the noisy surrounds. The two half-metre high lions sit on a path, looking just a little shy as they gaze downwards and guard a gazebo.
