The unusual features of the grave caught my eye & initially I thought the four gaudily painted flower vases were tulips. Closer inspection reveals them to be strawberry & caramel flavoured ice creams, complete with cones & blue berries sprinkled on top. There are two people buried here, one having died in 1930 aged 78, the other much younger at 19 but with no date of death.

The headstones are cogs made of cement & the details of the deceased are roughly engraved, probably just before the cement hardened. These cogs are surrounded by very large ice creams of unknown flavour. The grave of the elder is adorned with handmade tiled doves. He was from Scotland & when looking from above you can see the Family Crest.

The 19 year old has a similar crest but it is adorned with a peacock, a clam & a piece of jade. It is interesting to note the spelling of "of" as "Ove" on both headstones.

The grave is surrounded & supported by cement bricks with what appears to be a sheet of lead behind. The combined graves seem to be of the same age but the headstone of the younger person appears to be much newer - perplexing.

The younger person is Richard James Gartner died 19 age years ove Allora Queensland.

The older fellow is Charles Henry Hodgson died 5-7-1930 aged 78 years ove Sunderland Scotland.
