When Elvin Raymond Jenkln (22) was riding his bicycle home from work shortly before midnight on Wednesday, he was struck from behind by a car. He died later in the Wollongong District Hospital as a result of his injuries. The police have ascertained that Jenkin had no reflector on the rear of his cycle. The deceased was the chief instructor of the Wollongong Surf Life Saving Club.
