From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060, and continue about 2.8 miles to the intersection with FR2060-500, turn left and proceed about 0.2 miles. Leave the road Where it turns sharply right, and hike NNE to the corner, about 0.3 miles distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/8" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MARKER decals on a Carsonite post which bears W, 24" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides.


What property is this mark defining?:
Private property N from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
